Berlin is one of Germany's largest and busiest cities. Millions of people come to this metropolis each year. Some come for business and some come for pleasure. There are several places to shop, and you will find many things to do in this trendy neighborhood that you won't find elsewhere in the city, and all of them within walking distance once you get to the district.

It is easy to secure a discount car rental in Berlin and driving in the city is usually not a problem. Do be aware that traffic cameras are used in many places. Also, keep in mind that drivers must yield to any traffic that is coming from the right when intersections are not marked otherwise. And trams (street cars) have the right of way.
If you plan on going into the center of the city, and you are going to rent a car in Berlin, make sure you get the proper pollution sticker from the car rental agent. The area in question is called the Umweltzone in German. Only cars with green stickers are allowed to enter this restricted zone.
