  • Michelotto tuned Ferrari for racing!

The Italian “Ferrari” and its tuning company “Michelotto” have finished their work on the long-awaited Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am and have started testing it on the Fiorano circuit.

And if the name of a car doesn't tell anything to you, it is necessary for you to know that 458 Italia Grand Am is the first Ferrari attempt to create a perfect car for participation in GT series races.

458 Italia Grand Am is based on the GT3-version eight-cylinder model of Ferrari Berlinetta. The difference between 458 Italia Grand Am and the European version of the car is that Grand Am makes 500 h.p., instead of 470 h.p. that make other racing models of 458 Italia.

In comparison with the standard model of Ferrari 458 Italia Grand Am has a revised braking system (since the car didn’t have ABS and a traction control) and a protective cage, which increases the vehicle safety.
