  • Audi A1 dedicated to Japan national football team

At Tokyo Motor Show Audi introduced special modification of 3-door A1 hatchback dedicated to Japan national football team and called Samurai Blue.

It is painted in 3 colours: white and blue (as football gear colours) and red associated with the orient sun on the flag of Japan. Specially designed 18-inch wheels are also coloured in red.

Interior of the car is coloured the same way and is fitted with sports chairs in plastic cases, unique mattings and numerous plastic inserts with team's logo, sponsors and car images.

Samurai Blue is produced with 1.4-litre gasoline engine generating 122hp. Audi plans to sell this unique model existing in one copy and direct proceeds to alms-deed. But it also is quite possible that limited part of this model hits the market in 2012.

Last year Audi introduced another 3-door A1 version dedicated to FC Bayern Munich. It was painted in Bayern colours with midfielder Arjen Robben name and number written on its body.
