Berlin is burning!
On Monday night in the capital of Germany some unknown persons burned 18 cars. «Berliner Morgenpost» reports that the incident had been committed in the Charlottenburg district in the western part of the town.
It is noted that the attackers chose only such expensive cars like Mercedes, BMW and Audi. Because of the fire seven other vehicles, a motorcycles and a bicycles also burned down. Meanwhile, the police did not report whether the attackers has political motives or not.
At the current time, police is working together with local residents. The police chief urged citizens to quickly call the police in case of new fires.
Recently, a number of German cities were attacked with the same way – elite cars parked in public car parks were burned down. In Berlin the most dangerous places are a Moabit district, where mostly live immigrants from Africa and the Middle East, and a Prenzlauer Berg district, where the percentage of immigrants is much lower.
It is important to add that such incidents were registered not only in Berlin, but also in Leipzig, Chemnitz, Hamburg and other German cities. The most «popular» cars for burning are police cars and elite and expensive ones.
