  • England loses tourist attractiveness

The wave of euphoria from the royal wedding which has considerably helped the tourist industry of Great Britain, has already passed, and the country promptly loses the appeal as a tourist direction. Such conclusion was contained in one of the latest editions by «Lonely Planet» – one of the most authoritative in the world of guidebooks for the tourists, annually having more than 100000 copies. The guidebook also names the reason of such poor situation:«Many British directions are overestimated or are not as don't match the quality, and the tourist business is not as good, as it should be». At the same time the magazine «Lonely planet» recognizes that many English landmarks are still magnificent, and the country remains to one of the most fascinating places on a planet. In the guidebook it is noticed that London has a set of excellent restaurants and free sights for children, Edinburgh is one of the most breathtaking cities of the world, and Manchester is still truly unusual.
