Ford has announced new Mustang Shelby GT500
American company Shelby, known for its manufacturing of special Ford Mustang modifications, has announced new GT500 restyled version. It will have 650hp and will be the most high-powered serial Mustang ever. Also new model got renewed exterior and interior.
Shelby GT500 is fitted with 5.8-litre V8 engine, generating 650hp and 812Nm. According to Ford representatives, new Shelby GT500 engine is the most high-powered V8 serial engine in the world.
Besides, renewed Mustang is notable for its aerodynamic elements, enhanced clutch of 6-speed manual transmission and carbonic driveshaft. Another renovations include quick-start system Launch Control, 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels, brakes Brembo and Performance Package with electronic shock-absorbers Bilstein and rear differential Torsen.
New Ford Mustang Boss 302 has changed less. It is fitted with 5.0-litre V8 engine generating 444hp, alloy wheels and various body colors.
Officially new Mustang Shelby GT500 will be presented at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and will appear on the US market next spring.
