  • Lego resurrected the old Volkswagen!

In memory of the legendary camper «Volkswagen Westfalia», Swedish company «Lego» plan to launch in October a new toy, that looks just like famous Volkswagen, says Autoblog. The new toy will be based on a Volkswagen Bus made in 1962 in a popular version of with elevating roof.

Westfalia is a symbol of the hippie movement and in the Lego performance got a V-shaped three-color color scheme, a symbolic lava-lamp, and even a wall T-shirt with the inscription: "Make LEGO models, not war" — to paraphrase the famous slogan of the hippies. In the interior of the plastic copies has all-inclusive and there's even a sink and a dining area, as well as some seats that transform into a double bed. Also Lego made a miniature engine, that is so compatible to old Westy.

As the designer of Lego considered, the hardest part was in making curved shapes of a car, but revising the video – they did their job very well.
