New Audi Urban e-tron concept electric car!
Audi have made a concept of a new city car. The prototype is called - Audi Urban e-Tron and has a cabin for two and has an electric motor. A prototype will be presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in mid-September, but the design you can find in internet even now.
The Audi claim that Urban e-Tron is not based on any existing model and has its own platform. From the design of the vehicle huge wheels (21-inch) can be identified. The car has only two seats, with driver and passenger chequer-wise sitting one behind the other. In Audi such landing scheme calling a "1 +1" scheme.
The concept is built with an extensive use of ultramodern materials for maximum weight loss. According to official reports from Audi, the prototype is equipped with two motors and a set of lithium-ion batteries, but the characteristics of the power plant were not disclosed. Audi emphasizes, that the concept focuses on the emotional sport driving.
Is the prototype is just a simple experiment or its future will be more interesting – everything will be known during the Frankfurt motor show.
