  • The new Audi!

The German company Audi has officially introduced the five-door version of its smallest hatchback A1 Sportback. In Germany the novelty will go on sale in spring 2012.
The new 5-door style is very common with the three-door version, but the designers managed to find additional 6 mm of length and height and slightly expanded the space for rear seat passengers. But the length of the wheelbase of the car remained the same.
All of the engines that fits with the new A1 are turbocharged: in Europe there are three petrol and three diesel units. The most powerful engines can be aggregated with a seven-speed transmission with dual clutch S tronic, but in the most powerful version of the engine producing 185 hp – the standard package has one.
In Germany, the five-door A1 Sportback will go on sale in the spring of 2012 with prices starting at 16,950 euros.
