White is the most popular car colour of 2011
According to one of the major paint makers PPG Industries research, 21% of cars, sold in 2011 all over the world, were white. It's first time in 11 years, when silver lost its top position on world car market. This year silver finished second along with black (both 20%).
But silver still is most popular colour in Asia (25%), white here is second with 23%. In Europe on top spot is black (26%), white here is also second with 19%. White is the leader in North America (20%).
In 2010 the most popular car colors were silver and gray. Black and white also were in top list.
