World's smartest cities
Ericsson Company in cooperation with Arthur D. Little consulting firm announced rating of world's smartest cities. The main criteria was technology utilization which makes urban environment smarter and more comfortable for living.
As a result, the most high-tech city in the world is considered Seoul, the capital of South Korea. It achieved such success thanks to major ecological program realization.
Cities were also estimated by such criteria as GDP, ecology, health care, safety, culture, transport infrastructure and education. The best health care situation according to research is in Singapore and economical situation – in Stockholm.
Top 10 also made such cities as New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, Beijing, Los Angeles and Shanghai. According to researches, great success achieved Sao Paolo and Delhi. These cities made serious efforts to solve social and economic problems with the help of technologic infrastructure developing. As they note, smart cities successfully engage new ideas, capital and competent specialists.
