    Paris Motor Show had always been a host of various important premieres in the automotive industry and this year is no exception. Here are some of the most interesting new cars that were introduced at this year's show.

    First of all it is worth mentioning a seventh generation of legendary Volkswagen Golf. It is built on a modular platform MQB and is 100 kilos lighter than a previous generation. Volkswagen engineers tried to make new Golf more fuel-efficient and as a result its fuel consumption became 23% less at average. The most fuel-efficient Golf – 1.6 TDI BlueMotion – consumes just 3.2L per 100 km. Minimum cost of new Golf in Germany will be less than 17,000 EUR – just like the cost of sixth generation was.

    BMW revealed in Paris its long-awaited front-wheel drive car. It is called Active Tourer being a concept car for now and being fitted with a hybrid engine unit taken from BMW i8. By introducing this car, BMW demonstrates how exactly will design of its future cars will be developed.

    In ts turn Ford introduced to the public at the Show the new generation of Mondeo – very popular in Europe sedan. It looks more emotional and aggressive, is fitted with additional options and became more premium being notable for a new interior design. Besides, this car will be first Ford hybrid vehicle provided in Europe.

    New cars of automotive manufacturers from France made their debut in Paris as well. For example, Renault unveiled next generations of Logan sedan and Logan Sandero hatchbacks. Both cars remind previous generation by the body line looking more expressively and at a more high price thanks to new headlights, front bumper and radiator grill.

    And, of course, it is impossible not to note a new Lexus concept car called LF-CC being made as a hybrid coupe prototype. Lexus LF-CC is the second car after LF-LC made in the manner of branded design stylistics L-Finesse. It is characterized with a large eye-catching trapezium-shaped radiator grill, completely original headlight optics, a unique body-color called Fluid Titanium, Human Machine Interface interior and a new engine unit. It is not known when exactly this car will hit the market, but according to Lexus representatives, it is going to happen “in the nearest future”.
