Upcoming new Audi models will be of a brand new design. The new stylistics will be developed by Alfa Romeo and Seat designers. The new team will have to make Audi models not so similar by the look with each other in the first place.

According to Wolfgang Egger, Audi Group head designer, company considers that era of so called scalable design came to an end. As a result, its design studio in Ingolstadt, Germany, is going to recruit designers from Alfa Romeo and Seat. Apparently, new designers will have to add to a new stylistics of a brand a little bit of freshness and emotionality.

Audi announced a big change in design back in last year's autumn, promising that even Audi stylistics will be reconsidered, it will remain traditional in the end. As an example of a new corporate aesthetics coupled with branded technologies they hold up Audi Crosslane Coupe concept car.

But as for now, it seems that Audi design traditions may be reconsidered as well. As previously reported, company is going to try out new visual solutions on a compact SUV Q2 that should make its appearance next year.
