Last year China managed to secure its right to be called the largest world's car market. In 2011 there had been sold 14.4 million vehicles in China which is 5.2% more than in 2010. Number of cars sold in USA grew more intensively: 12.7 million and plus 10% comparing to previous year.

China holds leadership in car manufacturing from 2009. And even The Celestial Empire government's attempts to hold growth of the car industry do not get in the way of it. For example, low budget cars sales taxes regularly increase in China and some of the grants had been liquidated. Besides, fuel excise taxes in China had also been increased.

In Beijing, the capital of China, local authorities did even more, seriously limiting vehicles registration. In 2011 only 240.000 cars could have been registered. And citizens number living in Beijing equals, according to preliminary data, 18 million people. Current indispensable conditions for buying a car are personal parking space or shed, constant Beijing residential registration and a job.

Those, who do not have such a registration, must have five-years employment contract with any Beijing company, residential space rent contract, tax inspection permission to buy a car and some other important documents. In 2011 government has also adopted a regulation “One man – one car”.
