2012 Summer season began pretty successfully for Cote d'-Azur, (French Riviera) in France. This region is still the most attractive place for those French people, who prefer to stay within a country for the time of their Summer vacation.
Besides, international tourists looking for a stable vacation place go to Cote d'-Azur as well.
It is obvious, that from the start of a holiday season load of main transport hubs of the region significantly grew up. At the other half of June number of passengers at Nice Airport grew up on 7%. All-time record of Airport attendance was set up on 24th of June and equaled 50,000 passengers. According to experts, such a growth is explained by the rivalry between EasyJet and Air France.
Tourist are attracted by the rich cultural program of the Cote d'-Azur as well: prestigious Jazz music festivals Nice Jazz Festival and Jazz à Juan, major exhibitions and all kinds of concerts in Cannes, Menton and Monaco.
It is interesting that there is still small number of tourists from emerging countries (Brasil, India, China and South Africa) going on vacation to Cote d'-Azur.
