The company Vygor was founded in Italy just over a year ago and has almost arranged its first model – sports SUV Vygor Opera – for mass production. The manufacturing of the car is going to be started in spring next year.

Company representatives say that Vygor Opera is the first ever RUV (Racing Utility Vehicle) class car. Crossover is rather big: it is almost five meters long with a clearance of 240 mm. Thanks to body panels made of composite materials the car is 1580 kg in size.

It is worth mentioning such specifics of the sports SUV as tubular steelwork, all-wheel-drive system with a front differential Torsen and electronically controlled rear differential, Ohlins coilovers, Brembo brake gear, six airbags, ABS, EBD and disconnectable traction control system.

According to Vygor representatives, they provided the possibility to fit Opera with wheel disks up to R22 in size.

As for power train, it is borrowed from Mitsubishi Lancer. SUV will be fitted with a four-cylinder 2.0L turbocharged engine in three modifications: 300 hp, 350 hp and 420 hp aggregated with five-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The fastest version will be able to accelerate up to 100 kph in 4.9 seconds.

Opera SUV will be released in a limited edition of 150 sports cars at the price of € 140,000 for a standard modification.
