  • Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be turned into “iPhone on wheels”

    Mercedes released online first official images of Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback interior. It is not very different than B-Class, which is based on the same platform, but Daimler Motor Company has already came out with statement, that thanks to new electronics hatchback will resemble “iPhone on wheels”.

    New Mercedes-Benz A-Class is oriented on a younger audience, so this is not surprising, that famous car-maker wants to offer its customers actual services.

    Hatchback will be fitted with new multimedia interface, thanks to which it will be easy to synchronize on-board electronics with e.g. iPhone: all mobile devices' content will be available through central console.

    Mercedes promises, that in the near future will also be realized voice control function, besides, it will be possible to communicate with a car in more spoken language. Car's interface will be available with following functions: access to such social networks as Facebook and Twitter, online radio broadcasting, navigation with the help of traffic data reading option in real time and “Car Finder” – car location's memorization function.

    According to previous reports, Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be fitted with the same engines as B-Class. There will be released AMG modification as well, all-wheel drive, turbo engine and built using “Formula” technologies.

    New Mercedes-Benz A-Class will be first introduced at The International Geneva Motor Show.
