Mercedes-Benz Company has officially introduced the restyled version of its G-Class off-roading SUV. Vehicle received modernized interior and enlarged list of available options.

SUV's design, characterized by its manufacturers as “classic”, was changed minimally. It will be not so easy to identify restyled G-Wagen from the outside: off-roader received new wing mirrors cases and front optics with light-emitting diodes usage. Besides, AMG version will be fitted with a new radiator grill.

Interior of the SUV was changed a lot more: it is almost new. The center console, steering wheel and dashboard were significantly upgraded. Off-roader is fitted with two monitors: one on the center console and another one – on the dashboard, as well as with multimedia system with voice control. G-Class also has integrated new ESP system, rear view camera, blind area tracking system and adaptive cruise control.

There are four engines in the power train list: 3.0L 211 hp V6 diesel engine, 5.4L 388 hp petrol engine, as well as two engines for AMG modifications: 5.5L 544 hp V8 with twin power turbo and 12-cylinder 6.0L 612 hp engine for the flagman version G 63 AMG.

Restyled G-Class will hit the market this Summer at the price of 85 211 in Germany.
