Grand Prix of America on the Hudson River West Coast providers concluded contract with Formula One. From future Autodrome tribunes on the streets of Weehawken and West New York fans will view Manhattan skyscrapers, located on the opposite bank of the Hudson River.

As Bob Varsha, Formula One commentator on US television said: “Formula One circuits are traditionally located in best cities around the world, but it was great injustice that there wasn't such circuit in New York. Only New York is more significant and massive than Formula One itself.”

From now on there will be two circuits in USA: in Austin and New York. The length of street race track in New Jersey is 5.15 km, maximum speed – more than 320 kph. There will be a lot of 90 degree turns on the route. Pit stops will be located near railway station Port Imperial, where spectators from New York will arrive. Circuit route will also include the Hudson River esplanade.

Local authorities expect to earn 100 million dollars on this circuit. Debut Grand Prix of America is announced for June 2013. Grand Prix USA title remains “Circuit of the Americas” in Austin, Texas, where Formula One will be led for the first time in November 2012.
