  • The new Nissan car will compete with Ford Focus

    Japanese vehicle manufacturer Nissan due to a European success of Qashqai and Juke decided to return to the most competitive market segment and to offer its customers C-class hatchback which is going to compete with new Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus.

    This model will be introduced in 2014 and will be analogous to Qashqai and Invitation concept car on the exterior. Hatchback will be manufactured at the company's plant in Sunderland, Great Britain in a five-door version at first.

    According to Nissan representatives, the company has started to develop this car 18 months ago. They state, that the car will be perfectly stuffed technically and its design will be very exciting. It is expected that the car will be fitted with 1.5L diesel Renault engine or turbocharged three cylinder gasoline 1.2L DIG-S engine.

    The last time Nissan was represented in a family hatchbacks segment in 2006 until manufacturing of Almera has not been stopped in Sunderland. The price of a car is not known yet.
