    Hot Pic Title

The Paris Motor Show, one of the world's major car shows, was officially opened this morning. More than 100 new cars of 270 automotive manufacturers from 23 countries will be demonstrated there.

European automotive industry is in a relatively more favorable situation than it was in 2008 now, so the Show is expected to be visited by about one million people. Automotive companies traditionally introduce at this Show their most “hot” new cars that are going to hit the market any time soon.

The most awaited this year's cars are Dacia Logan and seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf. Dacia will be introduced as a sedan and hatchback and new VW Golf is the most fuel-efficient ever.

As for luxury car brands, not a lot of them will traditionally make their debut, but all of them will be crucial. For example, British automotive manufacturers unveil renewed Range Rover which they modestly call the first ever SUV with integral body made completely of aluminum.

Aston Martin demonstrates modernized Coupe and DB9 Cabriolet and Porsche unveils its Panamera station wagon. There will be also introduced such cars as Skoda Rapid liftback and Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle).

The International Paris Motor Show is held once in two years. In 2010 it was visited by 1.46 million people. This year it will be open for the public from the 29th of September till the 14th of October.
