Despite the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games have ended, the national UK tourism agency VisitBritain is certain that the main sporting event of the year will continue to attract new visitors to the capital of the United Kingdom.

Especially for this purpose there had been developed thematic tours during which tourists will be able to see London through the eyes of athletes. A particular tour is dedicated practically to every single kind of sports.

There are several Olympic and outside London routes as well. For example, tourists will have an opportunity to visit Horse Guards Parade where beach volleyball competitions were taking place during the Olympics but usually there are parades and various grand ceremonies are being held.

Fans of cycling can visit kitchen, gardens and famous labyrinth of Hampton Court Palace where British monarchs had lived and where cycle race took place during the Olympics.

It will be interesting for tennis fans to visit the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum at the All England Club. It is noteworthy that tourists will be able to visit the most famous tennis courts that are usually closed to the public.

As for the Olympic Park itself, after the Olympics it will be seriously reconstructed and is to be known as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The ArcelorMittal Orbit observation tower will remain at the park but the Olympic Stadium will become significantly less capacious and will accommodate 25 thousand people instead of 80 thousand.
