  • SIXT accelerates Booking Process

    Sixt, one of the world's largest car rental companies, has launched a new service, which speeds up the booking process for customers. Since May 23 at more than 70 Sixt Rent a Car locations it will be possible to receive the keys to the rental after scanning a barcode at the time of pick-up.

    Barcode rental is very simple. Customers save all of the information required for the vehicle rental via a new booking procedure on Sixt’s website or by using smartphone applications. Information involves their name, license number, payment method and other data. After completing their bookings, customers will receive a barcode through an email confirmation or directly on their phone.

    This innovation makes the rental process run a lot quicker.

    The company is ready to implement a new technique for the counter management. This will shorten the time spent queuing to a minimum, allowing business travellers and holidaymakers to pick up the vehicle of their choice without wasting time.
