    Hot Pic Title

Volkswagen Golf may get a CC modification any time soon as well as another VW model – Passat. It is assumed to become a stylish alternative to a practical Jetta sedan and a direct competitor of an upcoming four-door Mercedes-Benz CLA.

Along with the new body Volkswagen Golf will get elongated dimensions and more dynamic shape. Besides, its hull back will be redesigned in the same stylistics as Passat CC currently has, including stretched out LED lamps. It is noteworthy, that unlike classic Jetta sedan, Golf CC will be fitted with a back door, which can be opened together with the rear screen, otherwise stated, the new car will get a “liftback” body. However, its trunk volume will be between 380L of Golf hatchback and 527L of Jetta sedan.

As for power trains, the new car will be fitted only with most high powered of all available engines in order to emphasize its premium status. As a result, its basic engines will be 120 hp 1.4L petrol turbocharged motor and 150 hp 2.0L turbodiesel. Besides, it could be that the “charged” GTI version of the car will appear as well.

The car is about to hit the market in 2015. It will be a little bit more expensive than a hatchback, but the increase in price should be compensated at the cost of a much better fitting. It is expected, that main markets for VW Golf CC will be North America and China.
