Economy Bookings were very helpful Many thanks - Price was massively cheaper than the next quote saving us a lot. Downsides-Car location was off-site and had to wait over an hour for collection involving multiple phone calls - The van was an older model, very basic, but it did the job - we were unable to fold down any seats causing a problem when loading bags, will check that in the future as all vans we booked before had this feature. Overall though, considering the great price and helpful staff, would choose Thrifty in Montevideo again.
Everything went fine, car was in great condition, gas efficient, clean. Be prepared for manual transmission and crazy traffic.
Price was right. Car was perfectly fine for driving. Tire pressure light went on, added air to all tires, wouldn’t go off. If we could read spanish, the manual probably told us how to turn it off. We lived with it.
