There was confusion over the insurance which I thought I d purchased through Economy Bookings.com, and even had a paper indicating it, but then the fine print said it wasn t covered so I had to buy it from Hertz who was handling Thrifty s lot the day we picked up the car (June 1, 2022). The car wasn t a Toyota Corolla as we d expected, but a Nissan Kick. It drove well in town, on the highway, and out to the lake on blacktop and gravel roads. Very quiet ride with plenty of head and leg room (we are tall) and easy entry/exit for my husband s size 14 feet!! Space in back for all the luggage was good too. When we returned the car to Thrifty, my GPS took us past Rental Car Returns and instead to Tulsa Airport Valet Parking. Had to circle the airport to go back to rental returns. But once there, the experience was so pleasant. The very nice man checking in our car even drove us and the luggage to the departures area for our airlines because we are mobility impaired and couldn t walk and carry all our things. He got quick permission from his supervisor, took us directly to the entrance for check in, unloaded the car, had us check to be sure we left nothing behind, and was gone in a flash. Polite and helpful while still respectful of his employer and very efficient. We were impressed. I m sorry we didn t get his name. It was between 9:45 and 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 if that helps Thrifty to identify and reward him.
