• 1.5.1.

  Your car rental contract will be between you and the rental car provider. Terms & Conditions of the rental agreement are available on this booking engine when you select the car type and enter other relevant information.
• 1.5.2.

  When making a car hire reservation on this booking engine you are bound by and deemed to have accepted the Terms & Conditions of the relevant rental car provider.
• 1.5.3.

  EconomyBookings is not a party to the contract between you and the rental car provider and has no responsibility or liability (directly or indirectly) to any party in respect of the Terms & Conditions of your contract with the rental car provider or any problems arising with the hired car pursuant to that contract or any other issues between you and the rental car provider. The confirmation voucher is not an agreement that regulates the car rental service. A rental agreement will be signed with the car rental provider at the time of picking up the rented car.
• 1.5.4.

  The Customer is obliged to carefully read the rental agreement before signing it when picking up the rented car. The customer’s signature means acceptance of all points in the agreement and all charges.
• 1.5.5.

  EconomyBookings makes no warranty or representation in relation to any rental car provider or any car rented by any rental car provider. It is the rental car provider's own responsibility to provide you with a rental car rented on this booking engine.
• 1.5.6.

  EconomyBookings is not responsible and will have no liability if the rental car provider's Terms & Conditions available on this booking engine have been or are changed by the rental car provider.
• 1.5.7.

  EconomyBookings is not responsible for any price change or additional charge made by the car rental provider that is the result of the customer violating the rules of using the car established by the car rental provider.
• 1.5.8.

  After receiving the confirmation voucher, the customer has no right to withdraw from the completed booking according to the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
• 1.5.9.

  EconomyBookings is not responsible for commitments deriving from the car rental agreement concluded between the customer and the car rental provider.
• 1.5.10.

  EconomyBookings is not responsible for information provided by the customer online: wrongly entered or misspelled email addresses, driver names, incorrect phone numbers or credit card numbers.
• 1.5.11.

  EconomyBookings is not responsible for compensating the customer for damages or losses resulting from the actions or cars of the particular car rental provider not complying with the rental agreement and/or applicable law.
• 1.5.12.

  If security deposits have been blocked or withdrawn, these transactions are initiated by the particular car rental provider on the basis of the car rental agreement concluded between the car rental supplier and the customer. EconomyBookings is not a rental agent, but brokerage service and can not be responsible for hold transactions.

• 3.1.1.

  Please have in mind that if you book a car less than 2 days before the start of your rental, in some cases voucher may be sent to you at the last moment, 10 minutes before pickup time at the latest.

• 3.7.1.

  Not to use it to make any speculative or false reservations.
• 3.7.2.

  Not to use the name EconomyBookings for commercial purposes without obtaining previously written permission from EconomyBookings.

• 3.11.1.

  EconomyBookings may rebook a fully prepaid reservation for the benefit of the Renter if the rental price decreases between the time of booking and up to 72 hours before the start of the car rental.
• 3.11.2.

  Booking details (pick-up/drop-off dates and location(s), car rental supplier, car class) remain unchanged in case of rebooking.
• 3.11.3.

  The Renter will receive the amount saved to their E-Wallet only if they are registered on EconomyBookings and have activated the E-Wallet.
• 3.11.4.

  The E-Wallet must be activated within 44 days after the drop-off date, otherwise the amount will not be available.
• 3.11.5.

  The amount is valid for 2 years from the date of receipt to the E-Wallet.
• 3.11.6.

  The amount can be used to pay for the next car rental on EconomyBookings and cannot be used to pay for car rental directly to the rental company at the time of pick-up.
• 3.11.7.

  The Renter will receive an updated voucher 72 hours prior to pick-up time.
• 3.11.8.

  If the Renter requests a refund after canceling the reservation before pick-up, not picking up the car at the counter or for any other reason that results in a claim being opened, the Renter will not receive the amount saved.

• 4.1.1.

  This cancellation policy sets out the expectations and consequences for both the Company and the Renter in the event of cancellation.
• 4.1.2.

  Online booking cancellation is available in the Bookings section of the Renter’s User Profile. To cancel, the Renter must sign in to User Profile or register using the email specified during the booking process.
• 4.1.3.

  Free Cancellation is available if the Renter cancels the booking up to 48 hours before pick-up.
• 4.1.4.

  It is the renter's responsibility to cancel the booking in advance.
• 4.1.5.

  When making a booking, the Renter can find the up-to-date cancellation policy at the car search step.
• 4.1.6.

  Ignorance and not reading the details of the cancellation policy is no excuse.
• 4.1.7.

  Once the booking is made, the cancellation policy will be available on the Renter’s confirmation voucher.
• 4.1.8.

  Cancellation requests received by e-mail may take up to 48 hours to process.
• 4.1.9.

  Applicable fees may vary depending on the time of cancellation.
• 4.1.10.

  Please note that car rental companies offer different types of bookings, each with their own cancellation policies. Reading the terms and conditions carefully before booking is important to understand the Renter’s rights and responsibilities in relation to cancellation and refunds.
• 4.1.11.

  All customer requests falling under the cancellation policy will be dealt with in accordance with clause 4.1.8. of these terms and conditions.
• 4.1.12.

  Purchasing the Last Minute Cancellation option guarantees a more flexible cancellation policy.

• 4.2.1.

  If a cancellation request is directed to the car rental provider rather than the Company, this Cancellation and Refund Policy will not be applicable.
• 4.2.2.

  EconomyBookings shall not be liable and will not issue refunds, BookingCredit™, or E-Wallet compensation for any booking disruptions caused by force majeure events. These include, but are not limited to, war, armed conflict, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, airport or airspace closures, and government-imposed travel restrictions—whether they affect EconomyBookings’ operations or prevent the Renter from collecting the vehicle at the designated time and place. Such situations are beyond EconomyBookings’ control. At its sole discretion, EconomyBookings may attempt to assist by contacting the car rental supplier to explore alternative solutions, but such assistance is not guaranteed and is subject to the supplier’s own policies, availability, and fees.
• 4.2.3.

  Cancellations must be made in accordance with clause 4.1.2 of these terms and conditions.
• 4.2.4.

  If the Renter wishes to cancel the booking, it is the Renter's responsibility to initiate the cancellation process.
• 4.2.5.

  You may cancel your booking and receive a 100% refund up to 48 hours before pick-up. The booking will be refunded to your E-Wallet in the form of BookingCredit™. You may withdraw it to your original payment method free of charge or use it as credit for future bookings.

  Cancellation and refund to the original payment method is not available if requested less than 48 hours before the pick-up.

• 4.2.6.

  If cancellation is made less than 48 hours before scheduled pick-up time, no refund will be provided.
• 4.2.7.

  Any refund owed for a canceled booking, paid partially or entirely using BookingCredit™, will be issued as BookingCredit™.
• 4.2.8.

  Refund eligibility may vary based on factors such as the type of booking (standard or prepaid) and the timing of the cancellation.
• 4.2.9.

  Bookings made within 48 hours of the pick-up time are non-refundable.
• 4.2.10.

  The Renter may request a refund for a canceled booking within six (6) months of canceling booking. This does not apply to additional bonuses or extra amounts.

• 4.3.1.

  The BookingCredit™ is eligible for use in any prepayment made on EconomyBookings and is valid for one or multiple bookings. However, it is exclusively for payment for Company services.
• 4.3.2.

  The BookingCredit™, which represents the funds in E-Wallet, will remain valid for a period of two (2) years from the date of issuance to the Renter. After this two-year period, the BookingCredit™ will expire and become non-refundable.
• 4.3.3.

  The Renter can utilize their BookingCredit™ for any prepayment made on EconomyBookings.
• 4.3.4.

  To apply the BookingCredit™ to a new booking, the Renter should input the same email address used for the original booking in the driver details section. The BookingCredit™ should be applied manually as a prepayment for a new booking on the last (payment) step.
• 4.3.5.

  If the payable amount for a new booking is lower than the available BookingCredit™, the Renter can utilize the remaining amount similarly for future bookings.
• 4.3.6.

  We retain the right to grant BookingCredit™ to Renters based on their loyalty to our Company and its services. This includes occasions like public holidays, international events, and the Renter’s birthday, along with other situations determined at the discretion of the Company.

• 4.4.1.

  Eligibility for Withdrawal
  • 4.4.1.1.
    The Renter may request a withdrawal from their E-Wallet to their original payment method under the following conditions:
  • 4.4.1.2.
    The Renter has canceled a booking with the Company within 48 hours from booking confirmation
  • 4.4.1.3.
    The Renter’s booking was canceled within the last six (6) months.
  • 4.4.1.4.
    The BookingCredit™ associated with the canceled booking is still valid, as described below.
• 4.4.2.

  Requesting a withdrawal
  • 4.4.2.1.
    To request a withdrawal from your E-Wallet to your original payment method, please follow the instructions stated here.
• 4.4.3.

  Processing time
  • 4.4.3.1.
    Withdrawal requests will be processed within a reasonable time frame, typically [30] business days. The exact processing time may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to, the volume of requests and security measures.
• 4.4.4.

  Additional terms
  • 4.4.4.1.
    The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
  • 4.4.4.2.
    Any attempt to abuse or exploit the E-Wallet or these Terms may result in the suspension or termination of Renter’s account.
  • 4.4.4.3.
    The Company may refuse or delay a withdrawal request if it suspects fraudulent activity or a breach of these Terms.

• 4.5.1.

  If the Renter wants to modify the booking, e.g. dates or pick-up and/or drop-off location, car class, etc., the Renter needs to cancel the current booking and make a new one. Please note that any modification may result in a change in rental price for which the Company is not responsible. The amount paid by the Renter for the initial booking will be available in the E-Wallet in the form of BookingCredit™ provided that the Renter cancels the booking not later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time. The Renter can pay for a new booking using BookingCredit™ received.

• 4.6.1.

  Failure to collect a car without prior cancellation,– no refund will be issued.
• 4.6.2.

  Failure to collect a car at the date and time provided in the Confirmation voucher.
• 4.6.3.

  Failure to bring all necessary documentation (voucher, driving license/s, passport etc) requested by the Supplier (information is provided in the rental conditions).
• 4.6.4.

  Failure to bring a credit card under the main driver’s name stated on the booking with enough available funds for the car’s security deposit being blocked upon arrival.
• 4.6.5.

  Renter being blacklisted on the Supplier’s system.
• 4.6.6.

  No refund will be applied for unused hours or days.

  The Supplier has the right not to provide the service to any Renter who failed to collect a car at the reserved date and time with all mandatory documentation and a credit card in the main driver’s full name with enough available funds for the car’s security deposit reason or if the Renter comes for a car collection under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• 4.7.1.

  The Company shall bear no liability and shall not be required to refund, compensate, or issue BookingCredit™ or E-Wallet funds in the event of any booking disruption caused by force majeure. Such events include, but are not limited to, war, armed conflict, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, airspace or airport closures, or government-imposed travel restrictions - whether such events affect the Company’s ability to perform or the Renter’s ability to collect the vehicle at the designated time and place. These are considered unforeseeable and beyond the Company’s control. At its sole discretion, the Company may attempt to facilitate alternative arrangements with the car rental supplier; however, this is not guaranteed and remains subject to the supplier’s policies, availability, and applicable charges.

• 5.2.1.

  EconomyBookings charges the customer for the service as the prepayment when making a booking. Customer pays the rest of the car rental price, as well as any payment for chosen mandatory extras and additional services, directly to the car rental provider when collecting the car at the destination. (Partial prepayment booking).
• 5.2.2.

  EconomyBookings collects from the customer for the full price of the car booking on its own behalf and on behalf of the car rental provider including the corresponding price of the service and the car rental price. (Full prepayment booking).

• 5.3.1.

  EconomyBookings processes and settles payments in EUR, USD and GBP currencies (it may be changed upon request). The main currencies in which prices are published on EconomyBookings are Euros (EUR), United States dollars (USD), and British pounds (GBP). There is an option to view prices in other currencies and they will be shown converted based on the daily updated currency exchange rate according to the foreign exchange reference rates published by the European Central Bank. In the case of Full prepayment bookings, the principal currency is determined by the partner in its respective country and converted accordingly.
• 5.3.2.

  EconomyBookings can't guarantee customer cash payments to be accepted by rental car providers on a pick up.
• 5.3.3.

  Affirm payments.
  Affirm provides BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) short-term loans and gives customers a way to spread out payments over a fixed period of time. When paying for a booking on EconomyBookings, the customer selects Affirm as a payment method at checkout and receives a single-use virtual card from Affirm. The payment is made by Affirm, then a customer makes equal monthly payments to Affirm for the duration of the loan. Payment options are subject to an eligibility check.

  Note: the virtual card can only be used to make a prepayment amount on EconomyBookings and cannot be used to pay the remaining amount at the car rental desk. Affirm payments are currently available for the U.S. customers only.

• 5.3.4.

  Klarna payments.
  In cooperation with Klarna, we offer you several payment methods. Please note that payment is to be made to Klarna.

• 5.3.5.

  Klarna’s Privacy Policy.
  In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice.

• 6.1.1.

  EconomyBookings makes every effort to ensure that prices quoted at the time a reservation is made on this booking engine are accurate in all material aspects. Nonetheless EconomyBookings reserves the right to amend the price quoted at the time a reservation was made in case of a manifest or patent error in the price quoted. EconomyBookings will endeavor to notify the customer as soon as possible in case a price quoted at the time of booking is incorrect.
• 6.1.2.

  In case of a price change quoted at the time of reservation the customer may choose to pay the amended price or alternatively the customer will be entitled to a refund of all sums paid.
• 6.1.3.

  The foreign exchange rates used by EconomyBookings to display prices in the currency chosen by the customer are updated frequently. Foreign exchanges rates used by your credit card may be varied by the company. EconomyBookings cannot be held responsible for any discrepancy between the price displayed by EconomyBookings and the amount charged by your credit card company due to the rate of exchange used.

• 6.2.1.

  Unlimited mileage (unless otherwise stated) e.g. extra payment per km.
• 6.2.2.

  Local taxes and fees, road tax, VAT, airport charges and 24h breakdown assistance.
• 6.2.3.

  Insurance.
  Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and theft insurance with Excess. CDW is also known as Loss Damage Waiver (LDW). Please note that not all vehicles include insurance. Other rental car providers have different insurance system.
• 6.2.4.

  Information regarding included and excluded from the rental rate is available on EconomyBookings under the Terms & Conditions section, “Your rental includes” and ”Your rental excludes”.

• 6.3.1.

  Additional Drivers.
  Each rental car provider has its own policy regarding additional drivers.
• 6.3.2.

  Additional Extras – child seat, GPS, roof rack etc. All additional extras are on request and payable locally to rental car provider when the car is collected. Please ensure you request all additional extras at the time of reservation. EconomyBookings cannot be held responsible for requested extras to be not available by rental car provider.
• 6.3.3.

  One way fee – It's allowed to pick up a car at one location and to drop it off at another location. Additional one way fee may be taken in this case. And is payable on arrival only. Basically one way fee is not included in the rental price indicated during the reservation (i.e. one way fee is also not included in the rental price indicated on your voucher, please see more detailed information on one way policy and its cost in local Terms & Conditions of rental car provider).

• 8.3.1.

  No show.
• 8.3.2.

  Showing up late.
• 8.3.3.

  Unused days.
• 8.3.4.

  Additional services purchased locally.
• 8.3.5.

  You failed to provide a credit card with enough available funds and with the main driver's name printed on it.
• 8.3.6.

  If a customer was previously blacklisted by the car rental company.
• 8.3.7.

  If a customer arrives at the car rental desk under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• 10.1.1.

  Full Coverage covers bodywork, glass, tyres and other excess you have to pay, if your rental vehicle has been damaged.

  Full Coverage compensates the customer for the amount of the deductible/excess deducted by the car rental provider or charged by the insurance company in the event of damage or theft.

• 10.1.2.

  The supplier’s Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) may be included in your rental price. CDW limits your liability for the car to the excess – the amount of money the car rental company will charge you in the event that the rental car is damaged. Such items as windscreen, locks, tyres, undercarriage and key are not covered by the CDW. If you are held responsible to pay the excess, you pay it to the rental company.

  Full Coverage does not replace a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). EconomyBookings shall not assume any responsibility if a CDW is not included in the rental price and the customer failed to provide valid proof of his/her own CDW as required by the car rental provider and mentioned in the confirmation voucher.

• 10.1.3.

  If Full Coverage has been purchased along with the rental, it will cover all unexpected losses related to local car rental agreement.

• 10.2.1.

  Damage excess amount you pay if your rental vehicle is involved in an incident.
• 10.2.2.

  Excess amount for car theft.
• 10.2.3.

  Charges for damage to the rental vehicle mechanical components that are not covered by your car rental agreement including bodywork, roof, undercarriage, windscreen, windows, mirrors, locks, wheels tires, hubcaps, engine, clutch, battery.
• 10.2.4.

  Towing costs related to damage.
• 10.2.5.

  Costs incurred for replacement of a lost or stolen key for a rental vehicle.
• 10.2.6.

  Processing fee (including admin fees charged by rental companies). Please note that when making a refund, the bank commission for an international payment is split between the customer and EconomyBookings.

• 10.3.1.

  Any incident or damage caused by negligent acts such as drunk driving, misfuelling, driving off-road, breaking local laws or the rules of the road, and other situations when you weren’t sticking to the Terms & Conditions of car rental agreement.
• 10.3.2.

  Extras/additional services (child seats, GPS, etc.).
• 10.3.3.

  Personal valuables.
• 10.3.4.

  Hotel costs or other out-of-pocket expenses.
• 10.3.5.

  Cleaning costs or damage to the car’s interior or mechanical parts.
• 10.3.6.

  Bank fees or any differences in currency exchange rates.
• 10.3.7.

  Third-party damages.
• 10.3.8.

  Car damage caused by natural disasters, acts of war and terror attacks.

• 10.4.1.

  To cancel your Full Coverage policy, please visit My Bookings section on our website. You can cancel and receive a 100% refund issued to your E-Wallet. A free withdrawal to the original payment method (credit card) is available, following EconomyBookings current refund policy.
• 10.4.2.

  If you want to cancel your Full Coverage policy less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time or after you’ve picked your car up, you won’t receive a refund.

• 10.5.1.

  EconomyBookings may offer Full Coverage products provided by different third-party protection providers. When such products are available, the relevant terms, coverage conditions, and claims process will be shown at the time of booking.

• 10.6.1.

  If your Full Coverage has been purchased under the Renasco brand, any complaints or feedback related to the product, service, or claims handling shall be reviewed in accordance with the Renasco complaints procedure described below. For Full Coverage products provided by other protection providers, please follow the complaint submission process and contact details specified in that provider’s own terms and conditions.
• 10.6.2.

  Submitting a Complaint

  Clients may submit complaints in writing via email to [email protected] or by post to SIA “Booking Group Corporation”, Ziemelu street 4, Lidosta Riga, Marupe, LV-1053, Latvia.
  To help us review your complaint efficiently, please include:
  
  

  • your full name (and company name if applicable),
  • policy number or other identifying details,
  • contact information (email, phone, or address), and
  • a short description of the situation and the result you expect.
  • If essential information is missing, Renasco may contact you to clarify details before starting the review
• 10.6.3.

  Review Process

  All complaints are logged and reviewed by our customer relations team. Renasco confirms receipt of each complaint and ensures that it is examined objectively and impartially. If more information or time is needed, we will contact you during the process. Complaints are handled free of charge, and all related data is kept confidential.

• 10.6.4.

  Response to Complaints

  Renasco will provide a written, reasoned response within 20 days from the date your complaint is received. If, due to objective reasons, we cannot respond within this period, we will notify you and specify the extended date for our final reply. Responses are sent using the same communication channel through which the complaint was received, unless you request otherwise.

• 10.6.5.
