Since I had never been to Croatia before, I was a wee bit nervous renting a car there, especially after reading some horror stories on the internet. Through Economy Booking ((who were terrific and rate a 10 too), I went with Nova/Right car rental agency at the Pula airport. Danihelin Cerin at the desk was absolutely amazing from start to finish!! Not only did she have a great sense of humour, she also was extremely helpful in every way. She gave me some useful tourist information, but even more important, she and Alan (her associate) readily responded to my emails concerning a couple of traffic/parking violation issues in northern Italy. Furthermore, I had mistakenly booked the return date a day too early and Daniela simply and kindly extended our contract for an extra day. The whole rental interaction was seamless and I could not recommend this company more highly, at least at the Pula airport. The price was also very reasonable. Renting cars in Croatia is a fair bit cheaper than Italy, so we chose to rent in the former country and pay a very small fee to cross the Croatia/Slovenia/Italy borders.
