I didn t know that I needed Commercial Insurance to cover the 15-passenger van. My insurance agent wasn t available at the time of the rental, and I didn t take it. Later I called the Gastonia office and they were no help. I stopped in Durham, after talking to my agent, and the Durham office worked with me to close out a one day rental and start a new contract for three days that included the Commercial insurance through Hertz. They were great. When I returned the van to Gastonia they charged me for the first day Commercial insurance, which I didn t have. I will never rent from that office again!
