AWESOME staff. Well worth a 5 minute shuttle ride to not deal with the rental companies right at airport. Landed at 6am and they picked me up at airport less than 10 minutes after calling them to let them know i’d arrived. Equally easy dropping car off, heard other families complaining about super long lines for dropoff right at the airport. Best of all they were the lowest cost option by a couple hundred dollars. Super happy with these guys, will absolutely rent from them next time i’m in sao miguel.

Staff at Micauto were excellent, helpful, friendly, honest, not trying to upsell insurance or rip us off with dodgy damage claims. Really good. On collection of the car the chap marked loads of things on the outgoing damage report that we could barely see,so we were covered for any minor thing on our return! Exceelent!

Upon looking at mixed reviews I was a little worried about booking through this company but I was glad I took the risk. After figuring out where the pick up point is at the airport on Pinots delgada it was smooth sailing From there. The staff was very helpful and the car was perfect for our needs to see the island. I would definitely rent from them again.
